Lentz Center For Asian Culture, 1155 Q Street
The Lentz Center is featuring Valor on the Wind.Through selected examples, some of the roles that the horse has played in China, Japan, and Tibet will be displayed. Joining items from the Lentz collections will be items from the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, University of Oregon–Eugene, and from Berea College Museum of Art, Berea, Kentucky. The exhibit includes items dating back to the Han Dynasty (200 B.C.)
Michael Forsberg Gallery, 100 N 8th Street, 12 noon to 8:00 p.m.
The Michael Forsberg Gallery has a variety of Michael’s work for display and sale. Michael is an award winning conservation photographer. Forsberg’s images are a dramatic witness to the awesome spirit of the wide open. The subjects of his photos include Plant Life, Wildlife, Birds, cranes and Landscapes.

Shrew’d: The Smart & Sassy Survey of American Women Artists, Sheldon’s biennial invitational exhibition will concentrate on the work of a diverse group of American women artists who use aesthetic media to question social norms of representation in art, popular culture and everyday life.
The Horse Show

Ten Thousand Villages, 140 North 8th Street, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Ten Thousand Villages has a drum circle in the store every First Friday from 7-9pm. Bring your own drum, or use ours, but most importantly, have some fun! Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit Fair Trade store which works with artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing.

Workspace Gallery is featuring artist Christopher Schneberger and The Strange Case of Dr. Addison and the Crosswell Twins. Artist’s reception will be held in April.
